It’s -5 as I feed the piggies this morning☃️. All of our buildings are fully insulated and heated. So all of our piggies are warm and happy. It’s been a busy week here lots and lots of messages, some adoptions and the usual cleaning and caring. We’ve got some babies due anytime and lots of other things coming up. This is January (Jan). She’s 3 months old and pregnant. Jan had been abandoned in November with 2 boars (which have since been adopted). We will watch, wait and hope for a positive outcome.❤️❤️❤️ #guineapig #rescue #hope #january

Oh how true.
Sometimes in rescue,and life in general, we have to say NO.
- No we don’t have a space for your piggies
No we don’t have any “fluffy “ piggies,
No we don’t rehome to cages that are unsuitable,
No were not offering tours right now
etc etc etc
When we say NO it’s for a good reason. Unfortunately in some people’s eyes that then makes us the bad guys.
We don’t say NO for fun in fact we’d much prefer to say yes and make everyone happy. But that’s not real life.
